Senior Rugby
9th March
After training hard for the past few months for pre-season, our Men and Women are looking to kick off the first of their pre-season games this weekend with a trip out to the country to Oxford Rugby Football Club.
We would love to have your support for both teams with the Women kicking off at 1pm and Men at 2pm.
16th March
The second pre-season game is an exciting matchup between the two oldest clubs in New Zealand meeting halfway at Hanmer Springs.
CFC vs Nelson - who's going to take the title!
Perfect spot to take the whānau (family) up for the day, head to the pools and then off to the game in the afternoon, what more could you ask for!
23rd March
The following weekend sees a game of three halves at our home ground.
CFC vs Marist Albion vs Linwood
Look forward to seeing you there!

Matatū and Hurricanes Poua pre-season match
We were so lucky to have been able to host the match-up between two epic women's professional teams.
It was a close game with Hurricanes Poua coming away with the win. Both teams were rewarded with a meal from the Eat Food Truck team and had speeches and waiata (songs) in the clubrooms afterwards.
The turnout was amazing, especially seeing all those dressed up for the occasion - see some of our winners above!

After a great week conducting team trials we are still on the lookout for:

Junior Rugby
Junior registrations continue to roll in and its great to see so many familiar names pop up!
There are often requests to play with friends and we love to see this! We will always do our best to accommodate friends playing with each other as we know this makes it easier for whānau (families) trying to get their tamariki (children) to games.
This Sunday we have our Have a Go Day for anyone new to rugby, or just wanting to come and have a catch up with friends. Bar and Restaurant will be open as well as a Model Train show - gold coin entry.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask at cfcjuniors@christchurchpark.co.nz

Dads Army
How fortunate are we to have this awesome bunch of men come down every Thursday to volunteer their time to tidy up areas around the club and motels that need that extra touch.
Recently they have worked on the area at the end of field 1 by the playground clearing out all the bushes, painting the fence and playground surround, and today adding more bark to the playground to keep our children safe.
Thank you to (as pictured below) Mr Giles, Milsie, Russell, Stan, and Bryce - along with those not pictured that come most weeks.
Kei runga noa atu! Great work!
