Welcome to Christchurch Football Club. A club with a proud past and an exciting future.
Founded on tradition and built on community, Christchurch Football Club holds a special place in New Zealand rugby. As arguably the oldest football club in New Zealand, our history is rich with achievement, (over 30 All Blacks and 10 Black Ferns), resilience, and contribution to the game we love. Generations of players, members and supporters have worn the red and black with pride, and that legacy continues to inspire us today.
We are especially proud to be home to one of the largest junior rugby programmes in New Zealand. Our junior and youth players are the heartbeat of the club, and we are committed to providing them with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where they can develop not only as rugby players, but as people. From first-time players to seasoned seniors, everyone who walks through our gates is  part of the CFC family.
Our club is more than rugby. We are fortunate to have outstanding facilities that support our members and the wider community. Aside from our large licensed clubrooms (available from private rental), facilities include an onsite physiotherapy service, a thriving squash club, an active netball club and our popular on-site motel, which plays an important role in supporting club operations year-round. These shared facilities strengthen our sense of connection and make the club a lively, inclusive sports hub.
As we look ahead to the season, there is a real sense of optimism and excitement across the club. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our volunteers, coaches, managers, sponsors, and loyal supporters, management and staff.
