Annual General Meeting


NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 

Notice is hereby given of the 161st Annual General Meeting to be held at the Clubrooms, Christchurch Park, 250 Westminster Street, Christchurch on Monday 2 December 2024 at 7.00 pm. 

Business: 

  1. To confirm the minutes of the 160th Annual General Meeting.  

  2. To receive the 2023 Audited financial accounts for the year ended 31 August 2023, and the 2024  audited financial accounts for the year ended 31 August 2024. These are to be discussed and passed as a matter of record.  

   3. To receive the 161st Annual Report and Financial Statements. 

   4. To receive and approve the recommendation of the Board for the subscriptions for 2025. No changes recommended.  

a. Senior Div. 1 – 6 & Women’s $295  

b. Colts and any Under 21 player $195  

c. General $50 

 d. Social $20 

 e. Junior Family Member – 1 player (first child in the family) $135* + team photo payment –  2 or more players (same family) $250* + team photo payment  

*includes a Family Membership of $60 

 5.   Nomination(s) for Life Membership 

6.    Nomination for Cottrell Award 

              The Cottrell Award recognises the outstanding contributions of a club member in         any aspects of Club administration over many years.  The award is named in memory of former club member A. I. ‘Beau’ Cottrell, Canterbury 1928-34, All Black 1929-32, CFC President 1956-78, CFC Patron 1982-88, CFC Life Member

The AGM Report will be available on or before 15 November. 

Included in that business is the election of Officers.  

Nominations for positions are identified in this notice, we are now calling for nominations. 

 

NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICE HOLDERS 2024/ 2025 

BOARD MEMBERS 

Board Members are appointed annually at the AGM.  

In accordance with our constitution the Board shall consist of a minimum of five members, including the Chairman, and up to a maximum of eight at the discretion of the Board. 

We seek written nominations from suitably qualified members for the Board positions. 

A skills competencies matrix based on the various board positions is available; please email: craig.calder@christchurchpark.co.nz 

 

CLUB CAPTAIN 

This position is for a one-year term.  

Nominations can be made for the position of Club Captain by following the procedure below. 

NOTE: The Club Captain role is not a Board position.
